Duovalves on a R171

Hi all,

anone got a location for where the duovalves are on a R171 SLK200? Not convinced my heating is working as best it should- best time to fix it is the summer of course!

Usually in the mid 80s- is that acceptable?

Thats what mine and the wifes runs at so must be okay

Do a search for duovalve, either mbworld or benzworld have a diy on the
duovalve.

Was a bloke on here a few weeks ago with a 211 and he had no heat and he gave his a few taps with a spanner and it started to work again.

Stupid question alert:
How long should it take for a cold car to produce hot air through the blower? In other words, does the blower have a heating element in it itself, or is it purely heat from the engine?
