dust caps

    hello
    i just joined, i have just bought my rover 75 one of the tyres needs air and i cant get the dustcap off they are a metal,i tried the others and they will not
    loosen is there a special way of getting them off,i tried loosen them clockwise and anticlockwise,pulling them no luck :confused:

    Do they ahve a small screw holding them on ?

    If not , try some way of getting wd40 into the thread... see how that goes for you

    Two small pairs of grips or pliers may be needed.

    Hold with one and turn with the other to avoid pulling the valve out of the wheel.
