Like the title said my DVD drive which is used for the navigation bricks the whole COMAND unit upon startup on my W164 2006
I went around this by removing the DVD drive which fixed the issue, hoever when i tried replacing it with a new one the issue returned. I dont know the exact model of the COMAND unit however it is the one where the screen slides out and reveals a CD and DVD drive.
Did anybody else have this issue and how can I can I fix this because now there is just a big hole in place of the drive?
