I want to rip the soundtrack of a concert video DVD to CD in mp3 or WAV format so I can play the CD in my car. Can anyone suggest a program that will do this at a reasonable quality. Preferably free of course ;) but any suggestions welcome. The DVD is a legit commercial copy with sound content:- dolby digital 5.1 , dts 5.1 , stereo 2.0 . Hoping some of the software Guru's on here might be able to help.

Hope this helps.. i have audiograbber, but thats for CD not DVD

I used the 3 programmes listed in the instructions and it worked not too badly. Unfortunately none the stereo sound tracks were in the AC3 compressed format detailed in the instructions but the programme still managed to produce a WAV file.:bannana: The actual soundtrack was actually too long to burn to one CD so I divided it into 2. When I tried using the auto cue and split file utilities to separate the single wav file into tracks it failed to achieve this. I think this was due to the sound editing on the concert DVD where there were no real quiet passages between songs as this was filled with audience applause etc. I managed to manually insert cues and finally produce a series of wav formated tracks to burn. Thanks for all the help guys much appreciated.

Excellent... perhaps you could help me (well a mate o mine) he's after the backing score to Air America Charles Gross - Conducter.. we think.. but we cannot find the actual background music. There is an album with the rock/pos songs on but i'm not searching for this. i'm probably asking too much but someone may have it on CD???
