DX Sat Nav query

Just bought a second hand replacement DX Sat Nav unit for my W210 E55. Everything works fine except that the Sat Nav is in KM not Miles and it doesn't seem to update quickly enough i.e when you are driving along it doesn't keep up with where you are.

It came from another W210 so calibration shouldn't be an issue.

I have set the scale to the lowest setting which is 100 meters but this has no effect.

Any ideas anyone? TIA.

It may take the mileage / KM from the cluster, have you calibrated it, tyres etc?

select English UK in the language selector.

Can't help\with calibration sorry.

AS lewyboy says, set the language (to English (Imp.)).

Also, do the calibration thing - I cant remember where the menu is, but its under the NAV menu, probably NAV button then settings. The tyre sizes could have been different on the other W210 and also you need to tell it whether your tyres are new or used (go with used unless they tyres are very new)
