Wonderful AOL - block me from setting up my Exchange server.

(Despite that fact that I am using BT Business Broadband) - I know I can get a Static IP address - but BT want £10.00 PER MONTH.

Yes, I will be changing to a proper ISP once my 12 months are up.

So.....Does anyone have any experience of the services provided by no-ip.com or dyndns.org for authenticated SMTP relay, which will cover me for a while ?

Do remember though that should your server go down you will lose email! Also deliver by DNS can sometimes fail as certain servers only accept delivery (relay) from top level servers (ISP's) Although I have never had to many problems.

You may get quite a number of delayed delivery messages as well.

Also, don't forget to download the little utility for dynamicaly updating your IP back to dnyndns.

The best ISP is Eclipse. SMTP mail feed plus Website if you have ADSL with them, is only £4.00 a month! And you can have as many IP's as you can justify.

Regards Paul.
