Dyno info???

Hi everybody

Any one knows where to find info about dyno test about mercedes diesel and petrol engines, or the real power and torque of some models?

I want to know that to compare that info to my car dyno data (03' c220 cdi sport coupe and 98' clk 200k)

I do not know of any sources of Mercedes Dyno plots. There are the odd few for C230K's I have noticed on the US forums, must of which I have replied to comparing mine, but none more than that. www.scoobynet.co.uk has a dyno plots section, with other marques as well as scoobs, but no Mercedes. They only accept plots from certain dynos to maintain some degree of standards.

The best advice I can give you from my experience is, all rolling roads vary, some more inaccurate than others. Only compare Rear wheel power fromthe same rollers. Calculating flywheel power from the rear wheel power is hit an dmiss as the slightest change of the transmission losses figure can wildly throw the whole calculation out.

The conlusion I drew from my dyno runs was that my car has the manufacturers claimed BHP. That I am happy with.

We did have rolling road meeting once (I could did not run as an ECU problem was causing my Kompressor not to engage), I don't recall anyone posting the plots, but that I should imagine could be a good source.
