E Class All-Terrain E 350d vs E 400d

I am considering buying an E-Class All Terrain. I have a choice of a late 2017 E350d 4Matic or a 2019 E400d 4Matic.

I know that the 400d has more power. Can anyone say whether they think it is a better engine than the 350d? Is it similarly economical? The price of the 350d is lower (as the car is older) and I prefer the colour but I had originally set out to get a 400d.

Another vote for the straight six!

I waited 3 years from it being stated as a future engine to actually getting it in Dec 2018.
At 340 PS, 0-62 in 5.1 secs (mine is the estate) plus 4MATIC which is great it is miles ahead of the V6 predecessor.
Driven sedately you can get top 50s on a run or stick it in Sport+ and get high 20s or low 30s.

I reckon you would regret getting the 350 All Terrain - E400d looks far better too!
