E class Rear Window Mechanism.

One of my rear off side windows does not work. I have partially removed the door panel and can see that the cable that works the window is disconnected from whatever it should be connected to? There is a broken piece of white plastic in the bottom of the door along with a piece of metal. These two pieces look like they fit together and hold the cable in place. I have two questions please..
1. What does the cable fit onto.
2. How do you thread the cable onto the top pulley.

If anyone can help I would be grateful.

Probably best to replace the lifting mechanism and swap over your existing window motor.
There are repair kits available on eBay… depending what model you have and what part is broken, see… mercedes window repair kit | eBay
Can you reveal what year the care is?
