Hi all,
I am considering the E-class coupe (pre-facelift, used) from 2010 onwards, and I wanted to know if there were any major changes in the COMAND system, etc.
I did a bit of googling/forum searching and I saw that in 2012 sometime the COMAND changed from NTG 4 to version NTG 4.5 - however I couldn't get the exact month - can someone please shine light on this maybe?
Also is it possible to tell if its NTG 4 or 4.5 by going into some menu in the Comand system? Is there much difference between the two systems?
I also read about something to do with "Audio 20" and "becker navigation" and it being some module you fix to it .... aaaaaaaand I give up because I got confused. I only presume that this is a somewhat "after-fix" for not ordering COMAND from the factory? - but does this end up doing the same job as an NTG 4 or NTG 4.5 system?
Sorry for sounding like a n00b. - I'm actually looking to downgrade from my CL (W216) because of, well, the fuel costs of running a V8
