hi all,my 2008 E class 320cdi aircon is only working on the passenger side, the drivers side just blows out lukewarm air.had the refridgerant checked, that is fine.anyone help, its a new one on me,any help would be much appreciated, cheers greasemonkey

when my cls55 was very low on gas it would do the same; be reasonably cold on the passenger side but luke warm on the drivers side. I had it regassed and it was fine on both sides until it ran out again. I had a leak and replaced the condensor and its been fine ever since.

hi,thanks for that,i took it to my local garage to have it regassed and they connected the equipment to my car but said it was fine and didnt need doing..

Heater Valve Sits under the Brake master cylinder on a 211. Common fault.

The dreaded duo valve  I had to change one on my Jag DCCV they call it. To try and prevent any problems I periodically run the temp up and down a couple of times just to let the valves run the full cycle. This will hopefully keep them from sticking.

thank you everybody for your replies and advice.i took it back to my local garage today and asked them to degass and regass the system anyway.despite the machines reading yesterday,it could only evacuate far less than the system required and upon being refilled the aircon worked perfectly on both sides.charged me £40 mates rates, job done.i had looked at the location of the suspect valve and am very glad i will not have to do that job,not for a while at least..cheers greasemonkey
