E class W211 NTG 1 Issue

Just bought a replacement Nav Drive thinking mine was on its way out. The car thinks its somewhere 200 miles away. Replaced so far...

1/ New audio Gateway
2/ New version V13 Sat nav Maps from Satnavimaps.co.uk
3/ New GPS ariel
4/ New Nav drive

Yet still the same issue........ I get GPS co-ordinates but the map isn't correct

Any help ???

Firstly, if you do not have have a genuine disk (not a copy) you need to get a proper disk. Doesn't have to be the latest version. Copied disks cause all kinds of issues including overheating drives and bad firmware loaded into the drive (sometimes converting the drive to a brick). I seem to recall that the source you list may not sell genuine disks.

If you are anywhere near lightwater (M3 J3), come to comand.co.uk and they'll work it out

Where did you get the GPS antenna from - is it a Mercedes part or a unbranded one? Do you know that GPS antenna worked before you started on it? Same with the Nav drive.

When you look on the map screen, ensure it shows the current co-ordinates (one of the display options) - how many satellites is it showing or is it showing a '-' ?

Are the GPS coordinates correct and you have satellites shown, it does sound like a GPS antenna issue.
