E10 - Compatible - C180 KOMP. ELEGANCE SE A

Can anyone tell me if my 2005 Mercedes C180 KOMP. ELEGANCE SE A is compatible with the E10 fuel change. Looked on the gov website but it didn't include my Mercedes year.

YES it is compatible by analogy with similar engines from other years-if doubt still remains user the higher octane E5 [ more expensive]

Well I don't use petrol,but the problem with this E10 is that it gives less mpg,I have a friend in OZ who says it gives around 9% less mpg,so if I was running a petrol car I would continue to use the old stuff,in fact if everybody did not use E10 one of two things might happen,it is withdrawn or they will have to sell it for less
