Morning guys,

I’ve had my 2011 E220 for exactly a year now and have had an intermittent issue with the rear near side suspension for around 10 months.
I’ll park the car on the driveway and the next day, sometimes even less, the suspension will be so far down, I can’t see the top of the tyre. Once I’ve started the engine it goes right back up.
I’ve taken the car to a number of garages and all of whom cannot find a fault and none have witnessed ‘the drop’.
One garage asked to keep it in over the weekend and even on the Monday morning that car hadn’t moved an inch!
The only thing I can think is that our driveway is gravel and this might be confusing a sensor or something?
Has anyone ever had something similar or have any idea what the hell this car is doing?

Cheers guys!

I expect the bellow is leaking. We do many of these. We tend to replace the pipe to the bellow too at the same time.

How much am I looking at to have the bellow and pipe replaced?
Still don’t know why parking on the gravel makes the suspension drop, but never on a hard surface?

That is odd. Id get it plugged in first to see if there are any sensor issues.

Cost? IIRC the bellow is about £400 plus the pipe thats about £50. Plus a couple of hours labour. Thats all off the top of my head btw.

Yup, been plugged in and no faults found at all!
The car was left sat this weekend with the near side tyres on our garden path (flag stones) and it didn’t drop at all
