Hi All. E220 CDI (2000) 112 k (W210)

Having a problem when initially pulling away in 1st gear (auto), i put my foot on accelarator and there is a delayed action when taking up the drive, noticeably slow off the mark.

Have just had all 4 injectors replaced and problem has started since then.
Week before that had major B service done at stealers, only extra work was coolant change.

Had the maf off, looked clean as a whistle but cleaned anyway with isopropyl.
Put " one shot " injector cleaner thru system, did not seem to help.

Car runs sweet when on motorway, just this problem when at standstill pulling away.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Cheers!
Jazz.:)

It sounds like it could be underfuelling a bit or the EGR valve is sticking, or maybe the MAf is under reading.

Do a re-adaption of the automatic gearbox value's....Only possible with the stardiagnosis.

Thanks guys for input!

Found the problem,
ME!!!!
I tell my sons there is no point getting older if you dont get wiser.
At some point i must have leaned over and hit the w/s switch and moved it to w, been pulling away in 2nd ever since (1 week).:o

What a plonker!

Cheers.
