Not had my car long, but when I got it I removed the covers to check for the dreaded blowpast on the injectors. Found no1 was blowing a little, so last weekend did the seal on that one!
Today noticed some diesel smell from the car when driving, gradually got worse, untill when pulling up was smoke from around the bonnet, this coming from under the engine cover!
Anyway on investigation was blowing apparently diesel from around number 4, so removed injector to find a split in part of the injector!!
Great timing as meant to be going to Scotland in it in the morning!!!
Now desperately trying to locate a knackered injector, just to swap the minor part that is busted!!
At least didn't happen on the journey, though could really do without the delay!
