Hi Folks
Due to animal collision and the usual rust issues I will need to remove my bumper and wings in order to action the repairs.
I could do with a step by step guide to removing the bumper to avoid any pitfalls.
If anyone has the knowledge to guide me it would help a great deal.
The weather should be getting better as soon as the drought relents and I have started to get the things together to do the repair and refinishing.
Any advice in bumper repair would be appreciated.
I am looking to use fibreglass and flexible fillers before Plastic primer and the topcoat & lacquer.
My car has the headlamp washers so I need to know if these need any special consideration?
The wings are going to get sanding back to bare metal. Marine rust remedy and lots of paint.
I know some will say that new metal is best but I can't afford that option if I can stem the rot for a while by doing a thorough job this will be fine.
Thanks in advance
Steve
