e230 kompressor gearbox

hi all, does anyone know if a 2.3 kompressor gearbox from a 98 car would have the same electro plate as the one in my 1997 e230 5 speed auto?

i have seen a geabox for sale, and i am thinking of buying it just for the electro plate, as mine has gone, and this gearbox is cheap, any help would be great.

Anyone got an idea if these gearboxes are the same? Or even if the electro plate will be the same.

I'm not too sure about this, but i recently bought a new differential for my car and it was from a C230 (same engine as the E230) and that seems to fit.
