Just bought a cheap 1999 W210 E240 Prefacelift Elegance. I've never seen such a comprehensive history, it drives better than my 211 [emoji23]
Anyway just a quick one. I've fixed the airbag light occupancy sensor wiring and the washer jets, just the rust to cut out and it's a good un.
When cruising at 50 and 70 the revs will rise and fall by around 50rpm particularly on a level road with the cruise control on. No problems with idle or running other than this.
MAF and Crankshaft Sensor have been done recently with genuine parts, gave the MAF a clean whilst I was there no difference, plenty of pep and very smooth otherwise
I've heard it could be the EGR valve?
Suggestions please.
