I recently bought an e250 Estate (2013), where the previous owner had had one of the airmatic bags replaced.

The back end was riding low at the point I purchased but sank lower over a period of a couple of weeks, so I had an indy check it and they replaced the level sensor on that side (cost £350, does that seem high for an indy?).

Anyway, the 2 sides were now sitting at different levels so I took it back and they recalibrated on star. Left the garage and halfway home the dash reported malfunction, now the rear's jacked all the way back up at max inflation.

They're suggesting we try replacing the other side's sensor now (and, failing that, the bag) . I've replaced shocks etc in the past, is this a possible DIY fix or does it always require star recalibration after replacement?
