E250 cdi electrical problem

Hi all
Help needed, after fitting a towbar to e250 cdi estate 2012, tailgate inoperative, central locking inoperative rear lights inoperative radio inoperative and car won't start, but will turn over, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance Carl.

Did you use wiring set with right connectors? Groundings good, no blown fuses?

I've not connected the wiring yet I just put the car back together and nothing worked

No blown fuses in the boot fuse box, there is a unit fixed to the side of the auxiliary battery which has a positive feed on one of the connections and no live feed on the connection right next to it, and that chunky red cable goes to the boot fuse box, I'm guessing it is switched but does not change when ignition is on or off.
