E250 cdi manual mpg

Hi is it normal mpg at 70mph 6th gear cruise control on, dry day 16c temp! motorway driving!
41 on computer 445 out of a full tank till it reads reserve!!
Amg sport cdi.
Thing is a colleague has same engine in Avantgarde trim, auto
Who regularly gets 50-58mpg on comp!!!
Everyone seems to be getting more than me!
Help I'm jealous :0)

Dont have one but sounds too low MPG for the engine and conditions

You have checked for things like tyre pressure?

Also on that note, you on chunkier tyres than your pal?

1.Check engine temp for thermostat problems.

2.Check tyre pressures.

3.Check lead weight in right boot.

You have an issue. With the cruise on at 70mph my S320cdi returns 52mpg.

Tyre pressure checked 33 front 35 rear
245 40 18 front 265 35 18 rear
Taken to specialised garage had tyres checked! Emissions and codes checked
Going to try cruise at 60mph see what I get!!

On a 15 mile journey yesterday travelling through a town and then dual carriageway I got just over 55mpg.

Front brake discs slightly warped due to be done next week! Not sure if garage checked thermo, they said there was a thorough check!!
