Going to remap my 2015 E250 CDI through one of MSL’s London branches tomorrow , anyone whos done a remap on this engine already? Any feedback?

Only that on a realistic dyno they don't make stock figures of 204 HP and 500 Nm because of an injector change from Piezo to the more reliable solenoid .

...MSL has a London branch?!

So what is the actual stock power on these then? They don’t feel 204bhp either, Acid said i could get extra 45bhp on these

I would really use it , it's a fantastic tool that will also confirm the promised gains .

Drove a friends c250 cdi with a blue fin remap. Felt a bit more lively and revy than my stock c250cdi.
certainly went well, but I think only a back to back drag race would show if it made much difference.

Hi mate, I'm thinking of going to MSL Birmingham very soon for a stage 1 and possible dpf delete, how did you find the map? Much different when driving? And have you had any issues since the installation? Thanks.

Reaaaaallly don't bother with the DPF delete. Not only is it illegal, but you only get a few more BHP and your car will spew out loads of crap when you put your foot down, it's terrible for the environment and the people around you (that includes you and your family) and you'll likely have to worry about MOTs etc.

It's not a race car, it's a 2L diesel in a heavy car at the end of the day. If you're that committed to getting the extra power, sell it and grab something more powerful!

Dpf releases torque and increases mpg .

Even a dpf equipped car under 1.8L can blow 2.00 on first acceleration .

Less pollution through not having to travel to a motorway and drive up and down at high rpm , lol .

Tbh it wasnt to improve the performance, it was to eliminate all these headaches associated with the dpf, sensors and software. The car moves ok for my liking, just sick of waiting for it to go into limp with dpf problems, took the enjoyment away from driving it
