E250 Coupe, Door mirrors

When the door mirrors close there's an annoying squeaking noise coming from the nearside. I only happens now and again but very off putting when parking the car and others look around wondering what the noise is not looking at the car as they should !!!!!!!!!!!
Took the car to MB they sprayed some silicon spray around the moving joint but short lived.
Anybody any ideas ?

Had the same problem with my March 2010 E350Coupe. Dealer stripped and sprayed the mirror when the car was about 6 months old but the noise has returned. Mechanic says it's common and mine wasn't the worst he'd heard. They said they'll replace the mirror under warranty if I'm not happy (will do at next service).

Was beginning to think I was going mad. Have had the same problem with mine, makes a racket when I lock/unlock car. I've sprayed it umpteen times with wd40...

I guess I'll have to visit the MB dealer and get them to sort the problem, its really becoming a real pain now, this problem needs to be sorted by the MB dealer as I paid alot of money for this car.
I dont think Im asking too much !!!!
