E250 s212 2012 P2279 and p0299 codes

Hi all am new here and thought I woulda ask if any one can help with the above codes. Car runs fine for a while but will suddenly go into limp and throw the eml on with codes p2279 and p0299. Once codes are creased car runs ok again for a while and then will do the same. Any advice will be most greatful. I have had the car in at an independent mb workshop with no luck as yet. They are having it back on Tuesday but any ideas are welcome. Thanks

Has your indy got Star diagnostics?
Neither of those codes appear to be Star codes. Have a Google to see what those codes are related to the code reader you are using.

Yes he has star. The codes relate to turbo underboost and air leak metered side of intake.
