E270 cdi . Would empty cats cause turbo whoosh loud?

Not really no. Empty cats would just give a deeper exhaust note. A blocked primary cat would cause lack of power and give the sound of a boost leak.
Are you experiencing lack of power?

No lack of power , but very loud boost leak, and when had car on the ramps it seems to be inside exhaust system. Primary cat, is it the one just after turbo? Had all the intercooler pipes of and checked when changed my turbo. They all seem fine. Having limp mode problems as well. As i said there hight boost sound as soon as i touch gas pedal. Its def on turbo side.

Even when i start a car , that whoshing noise starts in few seconds.

Had similar symptoms on my C270 a couple of times, they were caused by blocked cat(s) and holes / leaks in post turbo intake plumbing (hoses & intercooler). Never got any limp home instances though.

Did u have to fit new cats or just decat?

New cats - with hindsight I would have de-catted. The hole was a split in the big hose that went into the inlet manifold. Couldn't be seen when the engine wasn't running!

I found my hose leak by taking the plastic covers off the engine and running / revving the engine whilst I had my head under the bonnet to spot the issue. The blocked CATs caused a severe lack of power and a lot of exhaust gas leakage from the pre-cat to manifold joint. I didn't diagnose that one but I would guess the same technique would apply.

Ill try to get under the car and have a look to them pipes that go into intercooler

I can't play the youtube video. It says something like it is private. Can you change it so that I can see / hear the problem?

I can hear the turbo spool up and down, very similar to my car. I can't hear any noise I would scribe as a "whoosh" sound. Is it louder under the bonnet?
