Hi, I have intermittent access to 'the Russian site', I need the cooling system and cab heater diagram please for my car.

I looking at adding a heat exchanger for my WVO. I'm quite sure were to connect into just need verification.

On mine heater pipe goes from back of engine into bulkhead then two pipes out on the drivers side by the brake servo to the duovalve.

I know this as i just fitted my block heater and i actually piped it up backwards, thinking the duovalve was on the inlet side when its actually the outlet.

I cut the pipe from the electric water pump to the front of the engine, heater all still works fine.

Lynall is corect, hot out from the head on the N/s. This then splits for heater and bypass. The heater then returns via the duo valve and pump.

This pipe heats up quick 2-3 mins but its off side DM.
I need the first pipe to heat up 1st, I think this is it.

That's the return pipe, the flow comes out of the head at the rear n/s.

I think I've got it now, is this it?
Is the flow indicated correctly?
Is this going to be the hottest part?
It's also a good location for the HE as well, short run of pipes etc.
Does you car run on veg. DM?

If I use this pipe, in the summer with the heater off, will the coolant still flow?

Not sure on the mercs but the TD5 disco was always circulating coolant and i would say the merc is the same.

It does sound logical to me.

Thanks.
