e320 210 mode brake fluid advise needed

Hi to all need some advise if possible I changed my brake fluid sometime ago put in ATE super blue racing fluid dot 4 .my abs & brake assist lights are now coming on [not all the time] had it checked out on star and is pointing to ABS pump .fitter says it could be brake fluid that has caused this [fluid to thick] could this be realy be the cause of problem any advise please thanks bazboy

Brake fluid specced for racing is normally DOT 5, are you sure it was DOT 4 that you put in there?

Hi Andy the name was ATE super blue racing brake fluid dot4 got it from europarts not cheap to be honest think that im looking for some thing to blame I think that the ABS pump is on its way out having it refurbishd next week 155000 mile on clock so proberl due thanks bazboy

I've used that fluid in the past without any issues. It's great for doing a brake flush as you can tell when all of your old fluid is out when the fluid changes color.

I have had issues bleeding ABS brakes but you may want to do a complete brake flush to see if it helps.
