E320 and Nokia 6230i, 6310i

we have an E320 with a fixed cradle model for a nokia 6310i (part no. A211 820 1451)
I want to fit a new Nokia 6230i in place of it but obviously is doesn't fit.
I bought a little adaptor but it didn't work, think it was a CARK - 91

does anyone have any ideas, mercedes want £2-3k to change fixed cradles etc .. could buy a new car for that !

It depends on the model of the car kit, on later models you can have just the cradle replaced the rest of the equipment will work fine, if its one of the early ones I think your screwed. I work for vodafone so I'll ask about if I hear anything more I'll let you know...

The cradle for the later W211 is B67875846 for the 6230i and costs £131. Not fitted of course, but interchangeable as far as I know.
