hi all just joined.im looking for a roof frame for a w124 cabrio and was hoping someone on here might be able to help,mine was wrecked when some thieving little s**t tried to rob the car

I assume that this would be an insurance claim and that the fabric was damaged in addition to the frame.

If it were me, I would take the cabriolet to a professional company such as d:class in Chobham Surrey.01483 722923 . They are able to check out the whole roof mechanism and re-hood your car.

no insurance wont touch it,the hood is fine,they bent up the frame on both sides above the windscreen trying to rob it,,,

Do a search on the spotted on ebay chapter, there was a wreck on there a few days back......

I've been quoted 25000 pounds for a bolt off bolt on hood from MB, you will almost certainly be able to buy individual parts of the mechanism from MB.
