E320 CDI: Door Mirror

When locking the car, both mirrors turn is as expected. However, when unlocking, the LHS mirror goes way beyond the correct stop position.

If the mirror in gently pushed back to the correct open position it's fine, but the same thing happens next unlock.

Same thing happens when using the manual fold/open option.

Any ideas please?
