e320 cdi mirrors

Hi I would like to know if the auto folding mirrors on a e320 cdi 05 reg can be reset manually or does it have to be re programmed with a star diagnostics machine. They were working fine and believe to have been disabled via dash board settings (factory reset).

You can set the option in the cluster menu, using the steering wheel buttons
