E320 CDI Auto Estate
Just got back from the garage having had a few jobs done and I'm pleasantly surprised at the cost.

But, I'm going to need new rear discs, pads and handbrake shoes.

Seems the spring came loose on the o/s handbrake shoes and that was what caused the handbrake to fail.

Worse still, the shoes jiggled about and were scored by the spring.

So four handbrake shoes.

Plus the discs are badly rusted up and pitted and the pads are only touching across a band of about 20mm.

So two rear brake discs and four rear brake pads.

Ferodo and Brembo if not Mercedes OEM.

Then there's the labour and VAT.

I reckon about £300.00 total.

I'm trying to find some prices via Google but am having no luck.

It's a 2000 W210 E320 CDI Estate.

Anyone there who can direct me to some price lists for the parts?

Re the other work: I supplied the genuine Mercedes parts and had the drop links fitted for £60.00 plus VAT.

The garage had to weld some bolt heads heads onto the shafts of the 13mm bolts on the antiroll bar to get them out!

They charged me £15.00 plus VAT to fix up the handbrake shoes so they hold and £20.00 plus VAT to fashion and weld a bracket onto the exhaust backbox. I provided the genuine Mercedes hanging rubber.

£50.00 plus VAT for the four wheel alignment: Camber, Caster, Toe, SAI including Angle Turning and Angle Diff.

Cross Camber, Cross Caster, Cross SAI, Total Toe, Cross Turn Diff.

Thrust Angle.

Plus £10.00 plus VAT to fit a supplied genuine Mercedes bonnet pull with the spring and clip.

And now it seems the n/s bonnet catch also needs replacing.

So any price on that part?
