E320 w124

Thats well over priced, even half that figure would be considered as over priced.

If its a nice car, I would say its overpriced by about £5000, You can get a good E class Cabriolet for £6500,

Regards,

Terry.

I have been looking around recently and I have just bought a W124 E280 Estate, it has two owners, less than 160,000, AirCon, leather, power seats and all the usual goodies.
Full Service history, (MBZ and Indie), last owner 140,000 and 12 years
No real rust and in good nick, just the odd bit to do, needs a new set of wheels. I had a budget of £2,000 and paid less for mine.
But as one of the experts said, on the Auto something video, good ones in the middle price range are now hard to find.

I saw this on EBay, which may be better value as it is with a dealer and maybe he will reduce the price

I have no connection with the add.

I would say that the car you mention is well overpriced considering that it is a private sale and not from one of the "good" W124 dealers

I would be happy to buy it for £1,500................surely it has got to me worth more than that

I think that I recognise the 260E. When I used to know the car it was owned by a guy who had it serviced regardless of the cost etc..

Was a very clean car.

I too have no connections with this ad, I would but it myself if I had spare room on the driveway.

There is a nice looking 1995 E320 Coupe on Autotrader, done 115000 miles, 3 owners with Service History and loads of bills and MOT's for £1995, I would think it fair to say that a Coupe will always make more money than a Saloon(500E's not included) £1500 may sound harsh, but these cars can be found for that money, you just have to be quick and buy them before the few recognised W124 dealers snap them up and ask a fortune for them,

Terry.

I think its fair to say in a few years time, any decent ones left, will start going up in value.

Which garage do you use d w124? (sorry for the thread diversion).

wasnt this same E320 saloon selling for £5-6k before somewhere this time last year?
