Perusing the data sheets for the Estate looked the same apart from fuel consumption:

EU3 engine: City 27.7, Extra Urban 45.6, Combined 37.2

EU4 engine: City 26.4, Extra Urban 42.2, Combined 34.9

Ah, the price progress.

This seems pretty crazy for the private buyer, who is probably more interested in mpg than the CO2 output or Euro4 compliance. That is quite a hit.

Does the 0-60, BHP, tops peed etc all remain the same?

Yes not good news for us private buyers, Bl**dy EU has a lot to answer to.

My mate has just taken delivery of a new E320 CDI and we were taking about this today on my first ride in it. He was pleased to find that he had one of the last EU3 engines which is the same as mine.
