Dropping my E320cdi off to AMD tomorrow to have some work done.

Mods are, AMD remap, Eibach Anti Roll Bar Kit front and rear, and than Eibach lowering springs with full alignment.

Hopefuly the results will be promising :D

Can do, surely it's not that interesting? :o

My friend your on the wrong forum if you thought sombody here would not find it interesting:D

More the before and after lowering pics:)

Because I am excited

Got you  ;)

I forget a MB forum is always going to different to a Mitsi Evo (what I am used to) forum when it comes to tuning cars.

Do the evo lot not care if you upgrade your car? I know the new mini lot well and they compete with those level of cars in time attack, and no matter what mod was on it they wanted to know about it. This site is also very good for it actually. Im feeling alot better about the move from Minis to mercedes for my own personal car

Aye they do, however they think I am a old man now I own a Merc.

I have owned 20 Evos in 12 years so the members who have been on there long enough to know this have been ribbing the crap out of me! :D

Were you on the MLR? I've just sold my Evo IX to move to Merc, your name looks familar on Scoobynet come to think of it?!!

Yes on the MLR under the same user name as here, Scoobnet as ant123456.#

What made you sell the Evo?

Well bit of a dissapointment today, arrived after a 3hrs drive to be told that the Anti roll bar kit had not turned up, phonecall at 16.30 telling me they could not fit the rear springs to a seized bolt.

Seized my ****, if I had been at home with my tools I would of freed it up no problem. So after a whole day all I got was a remap

Oh well that's life.

gutting about not being able to do the work! I hate it when bad news comes down the phone! So now i do all the work myself so i can sware and shout at the car instead of holding it all in and being polite to the poor guy who cant do it or bares the bad news

Really really want a V8 Merc:bannana:, the Evo was the best performing car Ive ever driven, total weapon, could never make it to lose grip, but utimately I found it souless. Much prefer the Impreza I had before the Evo.

A seized bolt.

A common problem on the rear of a 211. The bolt seizes in the bush and is very tricky to get out.

The springs still can be done but it takes a little longer.

Ta, but got my heart set on a C55, its painful waiting for one, only consoled by the cheap fuel bills Im enjoying in the C220 CDi:(

Movi - Star

Do you want to buy my CL 500 to cure your need for a V8 Merc?
