W211 e320cdi, non dpf. Getting a power/economy & egr delete map done soon, is it worth removing the innards of the cat??

I'm sure someone did it on a W210, not sure about on a W211

Thinking about it, may have been an AMG, sorry not much help I know but there is a thread on here or the other side
