In that case I suspect the electrical problem caused the power to drop - but no seizure.
If it is seized, then that has happened subsequently and probably unrelated to the electrical problem.

Please do - we're all intrigued!

I had a cambelt let go at 80mph on a 24v V6 bending 23 of the valves in the process (I know it was 23 because I rebuilt the engine , I have a photo of them somewhere) . When that happens the engine is being driven by the back wheels through (in my case) the automatic gearbox until the car comes to rest , I steered it onto the hard shoulder (no power steering as engine not running) the car rolled quite easily as there was of course zero compression in most of the cylinders.

What the OP has sounds quite different , to me it sounds like it has seized due to lack of oil pressure etc. Would hydro lock (dodgy injector) not have caused a bang and bent/snapped conrod ?

If it won't turn over with a big breaker bar on the end of the crank it needs taking apart for a good look.

Just an update German auto contacted me today confirming the engine is siezed they dont know why its happened, and basically bot worth fixing
20k for new engine
Or 6k for a used one

Not sure why the electrical problems have happened from siezure but dosnt really matter tbh if the car is scrap 😕

Sorry for your bad luck - but it can't be £6k for a used engine - that's pretty much how much a 2011 E350 is worth, depending on the milage!

Maybe its the total price factoring in labour and potential additional parts needed.

Thats the quote from the specialist total lrice supply and fit so Im going to break the car for parts as the rest if car is in good condition
Holefully pull a little bit back
