I recently bought a 2012 E350cdi sport convertible (265bhp) with full service history, 7g+ box, leather memory seats, Dynamic handling package etc etc etc and it's superb. Take your time looking as there are plenty of nice ones to choose from and if you can't find the right one then wait, it will soon be available.

I'm going to look at a (private) 2010 3.0 CDI SE tomorrow, FSH and 78k 🤞

I come across a merc specialist in London that charges £550-600 for the oil cooler seal fix :) (MercMan Tips on youtube)
Have you got his location details?

After years of loyal Saab ownership, I’ve just bought a 2012 E350 CDI coupe. Such a good looking vehicle and boy does it have some poke! But I find myself happy to waft along, with the pano roof open when UK ‘spring’ days allow, knowing that a little squirt of the go pedal will elicit a wry smile. Locally owned by a(nother) former serviceman*, it’s slightly up on miles (122k), but with a comprehensive service history. The only niggle is that it has just the basic Audio 20 stereo. But I'm sure I’ll find a way round that. Not fussed about nav, just a way to Bluetooth stream. But that doesn’t stop me glancing back every time I lock it up for the night.

*When it comes to used car purchases, I always feel that you’re buying the person as much as the car, especially on a private sale. I knew I wanted it, but hadn’t really started to advertise mine. He was happy to wait, and we shook on the deal with just a £50 deposit. Ten days later, I was back to collect. Asked (by his wife) why he hadn’t asked for a larger deposit, he simply said we’d shaken on it. Naive, perhaps, but I think we both had that ‘warm & fuzzy’ feeling that neither party had anything to hide.

You can give it a go and see if it works.. let me know if your successful..
