E350 CDI COUPE 2011 - Battery change

I`m going to change the battery on my 2011 E350 CDI Coupe , 3.0 Diesel as it appears to be the original one from new and the car has a few other issues ,

• Do all of these models have an auxiliary battery ? if so where is it located on the coupe 3.0 diesel ?
• Do I need to keep a 12v supply going into the car via the two terminals next to the main battery so as not to lose any codes/setting during the swap over old to new ?

In the boot. If possible I'd say yes , the codes i had after swapping mine was 3 pages.

Where abouts in the boot? I cant see it , its not in the spare wheel well .

You might not have one if its not stop start being a 2011.

It doesnt appear to have stop start which I`m please about ,one less thing to go wrong.

If it doesn't have start stop, and consequently no ECO button on the centre console, then I believe you can just swap. I have a non start stop E350 saloon, 2011. No ECO button. I've disconnected my battery and worked on the car half a dozen times with no I'll effects. I've not even needed to reset the windows
