Hi
I'm a new member and a happy owner of a 2010 E350 cgi convertible.... that was until recently.
It suddenly developed an intermittent mis-fire so I took it to a Merc "specialist" who said it was a NOX sensor issue. I agreed to have it replaced and then had to have the wiring and connector replaced as they said it was water damaged. (£1500)
Then they said it still mis-fired and the messages say the high pressure fuel pump is defective. (£3000 plus labout plus VAT).
I find it very hard to believe that two unconnected components can choose the same moment to develop faults.
Has anyone got any experience or advice?
Thanks
Nick
