So I had another tinker today and checked the EGR mechanics under the cover:
Looks clean as a whistle and moves freely. Added a little lube and tested again with iCarsoft and attempted to actuate the valve...Nothing.
Does anyone know if this should open / close during idle? I am just looking for some kind of indication if the motor inside is dead or not. The only data I can view is this 'On/off ratio of exhaust gas recirculation' which is always at 20% no matter what driving conditions. Problem is iCarsoft is so hit and miss with features I am not even sure this would change.
