Mercedes Benz E350cdi 265bhp ( C207 )
Hello everyone,

thought I would ask in here before I will go ahead, I own a MB E350cdi C207 the 265bhp version - I have no EML light on but upon inspection of the engine bay I can see oil moisture around the Engine Bleeder valve PCV - I assume the part number I am after is A6420101791 - has anyone with a similar engine version presumably 642.852 replaced the following if so were there any difficulties as well as seeing that my turbo orange seal is leaking I was planning on going ahead with the DIY link ( Repair Kit Intake Mercedes Benz CDI OM642, £ 26.40 ) - my plastic pipe is broken thus I thought i may as well go for the following repair kit as I have seen it done previously

thoughts ?

Thank you

This is me fitting the newer pipe and other seals.

The turbozentrum repair kit is also discussed in that thread.

Some info of possible interest

Check part number by VIN...

Check part number by VIN...
I believe that for my E class, which has the 642.852 engine, that Mercedes haven't updated EPC for the E class, so the VIN check will get you the previous design that has been superseded on all other models.

But having said that, it's only the small rubber seal on the end of the pipe that is different, with the very small 'sucked into the turbo' risk.
