The problem seems to have got worse over the past few months, the cars been driven less than 1000 miles over this period.

It seems to have power at the bottom end, but not 100%, then it seems to hesitate further up the rev band (ie, revs stop increasing for a couple of seconds) and then puts power down again.

Ive changed the Air mass sensor, and the throttle body, both of which made no real difference.

For the most part its a M104, im sure someone must have seen this issue before.

Thanks chaps.

coilpack/injector wiring as discussed last weekend

Chopped the effected area of loom off yesterday, it was bad but wasnt very bad. I very much doubt that was causing the issue, but as discussed prevention is better than cure. Waiting for the new sections to come in, Ill finish the job tomorrow.

Ill finish the job tomorrow.

Twice in 2 days i go unoticed  Thought i had lost weight :D

Colindale didn't get the wiring loom, Chelsea were showing but had none so Steve's ordered them from elsewhere. WIll be in later on today so pick them up tomorrow before heading up to mine.

I'd be interested in seeing how this comes out in the end... I thought that the looms can go in all sorts of places?!

Good to see another w124 e36 owner here. Ive got 2, a saloon and a coupe, any more details on the one you have?

Did you do the basics and read off any fault codes first ????????

What results ??????????????

Ive left the car with a friend, as he needed a spare car. Ill pick it up over the weekend and put it on DAS, but im not expecting the problem to have stored a code. But you never know.
