If so, would be grateful for insights on the engine, handling and dynamics.

any one seen an E400 demo at any MB dealer?

Saw the demo at Milton Keynes, about a month ago.
Didnt get a chance to drive it though.

It was a white cab and it looked absolutely stunning.
Pretty much 'bog standard', but why would you need any more than what E400 already has.

I bought an E400 Cabrio to replace a 2012 C350 (petrol); same 3.5 litre engine but now turbocharged. Old C350 engine sounded awesome when revved... Real strident exhaust sound. Turbos have muted the E400 engine much too much. Harman Kardon HiFi was superb in C-Class but really muffled with boomy bass in the E-Class. My C350 would often do 35mpg on a run but (admittedly brand new) E400 struggling to do 27mpg on a run...

If you'd consider an E350, I got one in August!
