Good evening all,

Recently i've chose to take up work outside the UK and subsequently decided to sell some of the toys. First one went on Pistonheads and moving on from there, I've had a lot of people messaging on whether I would sell the E500 Limited. I have two, black and silver. However, it's the silver I would sell as the black is more a work in progress. Unlike the E55, I would really like this to go to someone enthusiastic about the car and it's upkeep.

What are your experienced views as to how much it's worth? Or should I keep it for the long term. I've owned it around six years now.

Specification:

1994 E500 Limited
2 Owners
49000 Miles
Service History
Original manuals and documents

Thank you for any inputs.

ps can anyone here advise how to load an image from flickr? Thanks

Considering it's very low mileage and clean condition judging by the few photos
I would say around £20K :dk: Good thing if you decide to keep it - the value can only go up especially as it's a limited. Great car!

Not sure how it's done in Flickr but I use postimage.org on desktop, on the iPhone app I just upload straight from my phone

Thanks for the photo upload :)

I believe 4 Star Classics also have a Limited for sale at £29995

Any pics of the interior?

No idea what it's worth but it's absolutely lovely :)

Thank you, I don't have any photos to hand but the interior is black leather as optioned on the E500 Limited.

Just out of interest, do you have a link to 4 star classics E500 Limited?

Thanks. That engine bay looks a bit tired and done quite a lot more miles compared to mine. Yet, it's given me a sound idea about my E500, thank you.

I'd say around the £20k mark privately. Mint dealer cars tend to change hands around the £25k mark. Those cars around the £30k mark sit around for years. This discussion is for E500 Limited.

Nice 500E you can buy for about £15k. E60 is something else...

If you can store it keep it. But since you have two then it might make sense selling one.

Exactly that. You can advertise it for 10 million pounds, but it's pointless. Why buy an old non-AMG when you can get a good newer proper AMG example for that price.

a friend offers 30k of no plates from his collection in str8 swap, in all honesty depends how much u need a deal price is between 10-13k in cash anything higher it need specialist auction in switzerland for LHD market

like was said before e36 or e60 nos of cars and mileage come to play

Have been offered £24995 by forum member here. I think it's one of those things, worth a lot to some and not much to others.

Take it as that is probably one of the best offers in a private sale you will get.

£25k and the knowledge it's gone to an enthusiast, grab the opportunity and run.

Got to be £25k+ with that mileage
Are you sure the black leather isn't a retrim due to the original leather going nasty as it does on so many Limited interiors?
