Judging by who's sold it, it would not have been cheap.

I don't think it's the case with this dealer but many classic car dealers are actually selling on behalf of the owners on commission and a lot of the time when they come up as sold it could just mean the owner has decided not to sell..

Yes, and iirc last year one of them up Lancs way went walkabout having sold the car(s) and kept the money. Not a way of selling I'd really fancy.
