Hi all, I've lost the square sticker that goes on the slam panel at the front of the engine bay - at the almost directly under the bonnet star. Amongst other things it lists the capacity of the a/c system and I'm having it regassed on Friday.

Can you tell me what yours says and/or stick a photo up? In this pic you can see the outline of where it was - behind the bonnet catch, in front of the red sticker.

Sorry, but I'm exactly the same.
No sign of anything having been stuck there before.

Brilliant, and exactly the same as on pcmgsmurf's 250. Which makes me think the Hella charts are right at all 212's are the same.

Thanks!

PS. Your slam panel is a bit manky. I recommend you clean it. Just don't use a Karcher :)

Only because that was the first vehicle the part was fitted to. It's the way the Merc. part numbers work.
Interesting, thanks 👍: I'd imagined that as the E is bigger than the C, then the a/c pipe run would be longer, therefore requiring more refrigerant volume. Or doesn't it work like that?:dk:

I claim the prize for the cleanest slam panel.....

OK, so I didn't answer the actual exam question, but still....
