E53 Coupe Problems

On mine, the rattle occurs when the inner sun shade is fully retracted (ie fully open) and the pano roof closed. Moving the sun shade forward a fraction gets rid of the rattle.

The rattle is still there but I have noticed a new problem today.

One of the rear light clusters has got either water or condensation on the inside. I’m sure this isn’t normal so it will be back to the dealer again. I’m sure it will be covered under warranty but as with the other issues I have had is pretty poor for such a premium car.

Condensation is common for LED lights in this weather. Shouldn’t be water.

I know it can affect the headlights but I haven’t heard of it in the rear lights. Also it is only on one side.

has the condensation or water gone away? I had condensation in my SL’s rear light once, went away, not recurred.

No it’s still there.

I will leave it for a few days and see if it dries out.

It probably needs a bit of warmth.
