E53 issues

Ok new to the club, so hope I am posting in right place etc.
Recently bought the new E53AMG and am mostly very pleased, big step up from last c class, however I am having an intermittent problem with acceleration, sometimes and fairly regularly putting my foot down seems like hitting a wall and the car almost jumps back, and then seems to have almost no power at all to the point that if I can I pull over and restart the engine which rectifies the problem and then no power issues at all. So just wondering if anyone knows what is going on?

As it is still under warranty then take it back to the dealer as not fit for purpose

Yes I think so, but wondered if it was something stupid I may have pressed or failed to press..

You could check that you haven't set the the speed limiter, assuming it has one as that is reset after stop and restart.

Thanks for that, but im pretty sure its not that, back to the dealer I think
